About
Dartmouth Japan Society is a student-run organization at Dartmouth College that attempts to bring understanding and appreciation of Japan to the community. We try to bring Japan a little closer to the little town of Hanover by holding supersweet activities on campus. If anyone is interested in Japanese culture, language, food, or anything that relates to Japan, please contact DJS. Every term we plan and provide numerous opportunities for the Dartmouth Community to interact with Japanese culture without even leaving the campus...although we have been know to travel to exotic places and/or Boston (okay, just Boston, but they have a Chinatown and everything. It counts). See the events page to partake in the awesomeness that is DJS. Woot.
We meet every Wednesday in Collis 212 at 6:00, and every week we have someone do a short presentation on an aspect of Japanese culture (e.g. music, art, funny advertisements). Stop on by! No knowledge of the language is necessary to partake of DJS's awesomeness.
