Alpha Kappa Sorority, Incorporated is an international service organization founded on the campus of Howard University on January 15th, 1908. Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority was the first Greek lettered organization established by African-American women and is currently comprised of more that 260,000 members dedicated to sisterhood and service in chapters across the globe.
The Xi Lambda Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha was chartered in 1983 on the campus of Dartmouth College. The Extraordinary Ladies of Xi Lambda are committed to scholarship and service on the Dartmouth campus and throughout the Upper Valley area.
